How to get Here

Oakridge is located about 35 miles southeast of Eugene at the base of the Cascades and right in the Center of Oregon Recreation.
We are a small community surrounded by National Forest on all sides. To make the area even more appealing, it has been said that Oakridge has more days of sunshine than any other city in the state of Oregon!

Getting here is simple; go to Eugene, turn to the east and drive for about 50 minutes down a road that skirts the edges of two beautiful reservoirs, Dexter and Lookout Point.
Be sure and keep an eye out for bald eagles, osprey, deer, elk and of course the ever popular state trooper (watch your speed as these creatures really like this stretch of road).

If you are coming from points North, South or West, take Interstate 5 to Hwy 58 east, and that will bring you right into town.

If you are coming from further south (like California), or eastern Oregon, you can take Hwy 97 north or south to Hwy 58 west.
This route will take you over beautiful Willamette Pass, and then down along Salt Creek into Oakridge.
